Paloma's Journey

Paloma's journey as a teaching artist started in 2006. Since then, she has collaborated with a wide range of organizations, including Arts for Learning, ArtsAll (formerly VSA Florida), the Miami-Dade Public Library System, the Institute of Contemporary Art, HistoryMiami Museum, Marimbacoo, Community Arts and Culture, the New World Symphony, and the Adriti Center, among others.

Her work has focused on music and arts-based collaborations throughout the Miami-Dade metro area. With a strong background in music therapy and a specialization in autism and sensory integration, Paloma has developed a distinctive, sensory-informed approach to arts education.

This method has proven highly effective, empowering students to explore creative expression through various art forms and musical experiences. Her teaching fosters safe, inclusive spaces that encourage transformation, communication, and self-discovery.
